3:00 pm - First of all the Cox family wants to thank you again for your continued love and prayers for Matthew. Over the next few weeks Matt will need to be transferred to a long term skilled care facility.
Matt is an all-around great kid. He is a fighter and he never gives up when his team needs him. Now Matt and his family need us!
There are many ways we can support the Cox family at this difficult time, but none more appreciated by the family than prayer. Please continue to include Matthew and his family in your thoughts and prayers. If you are able to do more please consider making a contribution to “The Matthew Cox Fund." This fund was set up to help his family cover the astronomical expenses related to Matt’s accident. Large or small, each and every donation is very much appreciated.

Please keep Matt in your prayers.
9:00 am - Matthew has a fever this morning so please include in your prayers that his fever comes down. We continue to ask the intercession of the Blessed Mother and of Blessed John Paul II, but we ask everyone who is willing to pray the following prayer for nine days, beginning tomorrow Tuesday, January 14 and ending Wednesday, January 22.Matthew’s grandmother has had a long time devotion to Fr. Emil Kapaun. Our hope is that if he is able to obtain the favor of a miracle for Matt, that it will help in his cause for Canonization.
He only needs one more miracle, and his first miracle was the recovery of a boy with a brain injury.Father Emil Kapaun gave glory to God by following his call to the priesthood and thus serving the people of Kansas and those in the military.
Father Kapaun, I ask your
intercession not only for the complete
recovery and healing of Matthew Cox,
but that I too may follow
your example of
service to God and my neighbor.
Then recite one Our Father, one Hail Mary, and one Glory Be.
